Guest Rental Agreement
Q. How old do I have to be to rent a vacation home?
A. 21 years of age.
Q. What is the minimum night stay?
A. 2 nights.
Q. When are the monies due?
A. We use a credit card number to hold the reservation for you with the understanding that half of the money will immediately be sent along with the signed guest rental agreement. The balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival
date.
Q. Can I charge my stay?
A. If a guest chooses to pay by use of a credit card, a service fee of 3% will be added to the total amount charged.
Q. What is provided with a vacation home rental and what do I need to bring?
A. The vacation home properties are fully stocked with linens, towels, dishes, pots and pans and the following:
- Paper towels
- Tissues
- Toilet paper
- Liquid hand soap
- Bar soap
- Dish soap
- Dishwashing detergent
- Laundry detergent
- Garbage bags
- Coffee filters
Guests need to bring clothes and personal toiletries, beach towels and chairs if desired.
Q. Is there a grill at the vacation property?
A. Yes, there is either a charcoal, propane, or gas grill at the property. If it is charcoal, you will have to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid.
Q. Is there a DVD or a VCR there?
A. It has been mandatory for our owners to have VCR's, but our properties have been updated now to include DVD players.
Q. Are towels provided?
A. Yes, a basic supply is provided.
Q. Is there a washer and dryer in the vacation home?
A. Most of the homes do have washer and dryer. If there is not a washer and dryer on the property it will be indicated on the web site.
Q. Is there a fireplace?
A. Most of our rentals have fireplaces, a big percentage of them being gas. If it is a woodburning fireplace, we will make sure you have wood in the colder months.
Q. When is check-in and check-out time?
A. Check-in is at 4pm. Check-out is at 10am.
Q. Where do I pick up the key for the vacation home?
A. Most of the homes have keyless access. When we send the welcome packet prior to your arrival, we will include a letter which gives you the access code for the lock. In the homes that use a key, we will get it to you. If you are staying at Abbey Springs, the clubhouse there gives you the key.
Q. Is it all right to bring sleeping bags for the couches and floor?
A. The maximum occupancy is stated on our web site. An infant in a crib is the only extra sleeping we can allow.
Q. How will I get directions to the vacation home?
A. We will send directions and maps in the welcome packet that you will receive.
Q. Where is Abbey Springs and Geneva National in proximity to the city of Lake Geneva?
A. Geneva National is right off of hwy. 50 about 7 minutes west of Lake Geneva.
Abbey Springs is outside of Fontana, which is about 20 minute drive. Both properties have security gates where there is someone who can help direct you to where you will be staying.
Q. If there is a problem or emergency, who do I contact?
A. Our pager number is 888-487-1461. Put in the number you are calling from and hit the # sign. Someone will be back to you within a few minutes.
